What was your favorite cartoon character as a kid? Mine was Casper the Friendly Ghost. I can remember racing home from school to do my homework so that I could watch the evening cartoons on our old black and white TV. As a kid in the 80s most families had black and white TVs in Communist Poland even if there were color TVs already in the United States. Nevertheless, this did not take away the fun of the pleasant and personable ghost… my Casper. And even if his wicked uncles often criticized him, to me Casper had a magical ability to whisper to himself to constantly be happy and befriend everyone around him. In today’s crazy world of so much divisiveness and politization… I am sure Casper with his ghost whispering ways could bring us all together…
